Before uploading your products, you can pre-load your catalog with categories, brands and sector-specific attributes. Veendo offers seed data for 13 Italian industrial sectors.
What is seed data
Pre-defined sector structures: catalog categories, national brands, technical attributes and feature sets. Instead of starting from scratch, you pick your sector (e.g. "Fashion", "Food & Beverage", "Spare Parts") and Veendo pre-loads all the standard categories and attributes for that sector. This gets you started with an already-structured catalog.

How to import
During initial onboarding, after the setup wizard, you're asked to choose a sector. Each sector has specific categories, brands and attributes that Veendo auto-loads into your tenant. You don't have to pick a sector — you can leave the catalog empty and build everything from scratch. But choosing one saves you months of setup work.
Seed data is loaded once at the start. You can edit, add or remove categories and brands anytime from the Catalog panel.
After import: full customization
Once imported, all sector data becomes yours and fully editable. Rename categories, add new brands, create custom attributes, reorganize the structure however you want. You're never locked into the initial structure — it's just a starting point.
